The ultimate campervan driveaway awning — pitch it, drive away, come back to a ready-made living space.
The Maypole Warwick MP9591 gives you a full 4m-wide sheltered extension to your campervan with a front-facing poled porch, sewn-in groundsheet, and a 3000mm waterproof rating. Fits campervans with a height range of 180–210cm. Drive off for the day, return to your pitch, and reconnect in seconds via the rear cowl door. No fuss.
True driveaway design — rear cowl tunnel with dual 4mm/6mm kadar beading connects directly to your van. Side cowl door means you can enter and exit without going through the vehicle.
- Large front-facing poled porch — positioned the same way as your campervan for a natural flow between van, porch, and main awning area.
- Sewn-in groundsheet — sealed base keeps out drafts, insects, and damp. No separate purchase needed.
- 3000mm waterproof with taped seams — 150D Oxford polyester throughout. All seams taped for total water-tight integrity in UK conditions.
- Everything included — reflective storm straps, highly visible guy ropes, steel pegs, and an oversized carry bag. Inner tent compatible (sold separately).

WHY WE LOVE IT
Most awnings tether you to your pitch. The Warwick MP9591 doesn’t.
Drive off for the day — to the beach, into town, on a day trip — and your living space stays exactly where you left it, pegged and ready. The rear cowl reconnects to your van in seconds when you return. That’s the whole point of a driveaway, and the Warwick does it properly.
The front-facing poled porch faces the same direction as your van, so the layout makes sense the moment you pitch it. The sewn-in groundsheet means no gaps, no drafts, no mud creeping in at the edges. And with 400cm of width and 320cm of depth, there is genuinely room to live in it — not just shelter in it.

STANDOUT FEATURES
- Front-facing poled porch — aligned with your campervan’s side door, creating a natural covered transition from van to awning.
- Dual cowl entry system — rear cowl door zips directly into your van. Side cowl door lets you enter the tunnel without going through the van or main awning.
- Sewn-in groundsheet — fully sealed base. No insects, no drafts, no separate purchase needed.
- Fibreglass pole frame — shock-corded sections assemble and disassemble quickly. Individual sections are replaceable in the field if damaged.
- Large crystal-clear windows — two oversized side windows with roll-down privacy curtains. Front triangular windows with dedicated curtains for natural light.
- Throw-over straps and velcro roof bar tabs — dual attachment system works with or without a roof rack.
- Inner tent compatible — clip-in points allow an optional inner tent to convert the awning into a sleeping area.
- Reflective storm straps — visible at night, strong enough for genuine storm conditions.
-
REAL-WORLD ADVICE
- Driveaway connection — when reconnecting after driving away, use the rear cowl door for a weather-protected link back into your van. The side cowl door is ideal for when you want to access the awning independently.
- Throw-over strap protection — where the straps contact your van’s roof edges, wrap them in foam pipe lagging or strap protectors to prevent paint abrasion over time.
- Pole care — check fibreglass pole sections periodically for cracks or fraying at the ferrule connection points. Individual sections can be replaced without replacing the whole frame.
- UV exposure — 150D polyester can degrade in prolonged intense sunlight. When not in use on sunny days, close the front panels where possible to reduce direct UV exposure on the fabric.
- Storage — always pack completely dry. Storing damp will cause mildew that permanently damages the waterproof coating.
- Cleaning — warm water and a soft sponge only. No detergents or chemical cleaners.

UNSURE ABOUT FIT? WE CAN HELP
The MP9591 is classified as a Low fitting awning, designed for campervans with a tailgate or side door height between 180cm and 210cm. This covers most standard campervans including VW Transporters, Ford Transits, Mercedes Sprinters, and similar van conversions.
The 110cm cowl depth bridges the gap between your van and the awning body. It attaches via dual 4mm/6mm kadar beading, with throw-over straps and velcro roof bar tabs as additional securing options.
