Bailey Pursuit 560-5 – 2017 Caravan
This pre-owned 2017 Bailey Pursuit 560-5 is one of the most practical five-berth family caravans on the market, and this used example has come to us in genuinely tidy condition. It is built on Bailey's Alu-Tech construction system – an interlocking aluminium framework with GRP outer skins that keeps timber out of the bodyshell, giving excellent protection against damp. That construction is a big part of why these caravans hold their value so well.
Now for the numbers, and these come straight off the weight plate on the caravan itself, not a brochure. The Mass in Running Order is 1242kg and the MTPLM is 1450kg, giving you a very generous 208kg of user payload – plenty for a family's clothes, awning and equipment. At these weights, the Pursuit tows comfortably behind a wide range of family cars and mid-size SUVs, and it is towable on a standard UK license. You can browse the rest of our used caravans if you would like to compare, but five-berth caravans at this weight rarely stay in stock for long. The robust wood-free bodyshell is testament to Bailey of Bristol's design philosophy, and you can also research this caravan's history on the CRiS website using the VIN below.

WHAT OWNERS LOVE ABOUT THE UNICORN VIGO
- Fixed bunks the kids can call their own – no nightly bed-making at the back, just send them up the ladder.
- Lightweight towing – at 1242kg unladen, most families will not need to change their car to tow this caravan.
- A motor mover already fitted – confirmed in place at the wheel, so getting onto tight pitches or up the driveway is done from the handset.
- Genuine 208kg payload – plenty of capacity to pack properly for a family holiday.
- End washroom across the back – keeps the toilet and washing area well away from the sleeping and living space.

INTERIOR HIGHLIGHTS
Bedroom: The clever part of this layout is at the rear – two fixed bunk beds on the nearside, with a side dinette opposite that converts into a further single bed. Up front, the parallel lounge seating makes up a large double, so you have proper sleeping for five without the whole caravan becoming a bedroom.
Washroom: The end washroom houses a Thetford cassette toilet and a handbasin, with a window for ventilation and natural light. Having it across the back of the caravan means night-time trips do not disturb anyone in the bunks.
Lounge: The front lounge has parallel sofas with upholstered cushions and scatter cushions, overhead lockers all round, and a panoramic front sunroof letting plenty of daylight in. Loose-fit carpets sit over the wood-effect flooring – easy to lift out for cleaning.
Kitchen: A practical kitchen with an oven and grill, gas hob, stainless steel sink and a fridge, plus an integrated microwave at eye level and a good spread of overhead locker storage. Everything a family needs to cook properly on site.
Technology: Truma heating equipment is fitted, along with a Status aerial signal booster with 12v outlets, a full consumer unit with RCD protection, and an external battery locker with mains hook-up inlet.

EXTERIOR & TECHNICAL HIGHLIGHTS
Outside, the Pursuit wears its clean white 2017-generation bodywork well, riding on alloy wheels with a single axle that makes reversing and pitching far easier than a twin. The fitted motor mover – confirmed present at the wheel – takes all the strain out of final positioning.
There is a dedicated side gas locker with a Thetford door, an external battery compartment with a secure battery tray and 230v mains inlet, and easy access service hatches. The nearside door gives access to external storage, and the whole structure benefits from that Alu-Tech construction. It is a caravan built for real family use, and this pre-owned example shows it has been looked after. If it is not quite the layout for you, our full range of used caravans covers everything from two-berth couples’ caravans to twin-axle family tourers.
