The 2027 Coachman Range — Every Change, Every Model, Explained

Coachman marks 40 years of caravan manufacturing in 2027, and the anniversary collection brings the most significant interior redesign in recent seasons. Every range,  Acadia, VIP, Laser and Lusso,  gets new materials, new surfaces and new detailing. Layouts stay largely familiar, with one notable exception.

Here’s what’s changed for each range, what the models cost, and how to see them at Golden Castle.

A new interior across every range

The headline change for 2027 is a complete interior refresh that runs through the entire Coachman collection. Depending on your chosen range, you’ll find:

  • Primavera woodgrain finishes replacing previous timber tones
  • Dali Ash and Sand Tropez locker doors
  • Olympia Marble and Marmo Piave kitchen worktops and splashbacks
  • Black fittings throughout the washroom
  • A new acoustic Media Wallboard behind the lounge seating (VIP and above)
  • A new cocktail cabinet in the kitchen area

Outside, all four ranges get new graphics and updated alloy wheels. The result is a noticeably different feel from the 2026 models without any increase in weight or change to the proven ABC bonded construction.

Acadia — from £36,150

The Acadia is Coachman’s entry into wider-body touring, and for 2027 it receives the biggest update in the range’s history.

Every Acadia model now sits on a wider 8ft bodyshell, a step up from the previous width. The exterior moves to a new Silver Grey finish, replacing the all-white look. Inside, new French Oak Grey Herringbone flooring and Marble Stone kitchen surfaces give it a distinctly different character.

A new fanless power distribution unit means quieter operation, and a Scorpion S7 tracker is now included as standard with a 12-month subscription.

VIP — from £36,240

The VIP is Coachman’s best-selling range, and for 2027 it becomes the only remaining standard-width range in the collection — all five models continue unchanged in layout.

The focus is a complete design refresh: new Primavera woodgrain, redesigned cabinet doors and lockers, new upholstery, the acoustic Media Wallboard, and an integrated under-locker extractor fan. A new cocktail cabinet joins the kitchen.

If you know the VIP well, it’s the same practical touring caravan underneath — but inside, it feels like a different vehicle.

Laser — from £42,665

The Laser runs to six models for 2027 following the discontinuation of the Laser 480 Xtra, which was introduced for 2026. The range receives the same interior and exterior updates as VIP and Lusso, with subtle refinements across finishes and fittings.

Every Laser continues to feature Alde wet central heating, the E&P self-levelling system, and a specification list that’s hard to match at this price point. If you’re comparing Laser against anything else in the mid-£40k bracket, the standard equipment makes the real difference.

Lusso — from £51,345

All four Lusso models continue for 2027, with new exterior graphics giving the flagship range a fresh identity.

The standout change is to the Lusso III, which swaps its former single beds and L-shaped lounge for parallel seating, while keeping the twin-axle chassis, transverse island bed and rear washroom. It’s a meaningful layout change, and the first for this model since it was introduced.

The Lusso I, II and IV carry forward with the interior updates shared across all Coachman ranges for 2027. The IV, which was added mid-2026, continues with its mid washroom layout.

If you’re considering a Lusso, the III is worth seeing in person — the new layout changes how the living space feels day to day.

40 years of Coachman — and a 10-year water ingress warranty

Coachman was founded in Hull in 1986. The 2027 collection lands in the company’s 40th anniversary year, and the build method that’s earned its reputation hasn’t changed: every Coachman is fully bonded using ABC (Advanced Bonded Construction) technology, backed by a 10-year water ingress warranty.

That’s not marketing — it’s a statement about the construction process itself. If you’re comparing Coachman against other manufacturers at a similar price, ask about the warranty terms and what’s actually covered.
