These side walls are listed among the optional extras for the Hasting Air model of canopy. They weigh about 4.5 kg for the full set. Once attached, they help reduce the ingress of wind and sideways rain, and provide shade from low sun better than a canopy alone. If you often camp in exposed sites or during dawn/dusk light, these will improve comfort significantly. When not needed, they can be removed to leave the canopy open for airflow.

2. How are they attached?
   They zip or clip into the dedicated side wall tunnel or attachments on the canopy. Once installed, they can be removed when not needed.

3. Do they include windows or ventilation?
   Yes — the side walls are typically built with features for ventilation (vent panels or mesh) to help airflow and reduce condensation. (Although exact layout depends on specification).

4. What material are the side walls made of, and how durable are they?
   Made from Climatech SY17, which is durable, coated polyester, designed to resist weather and wear. They match the canopy material.

5. How much weight will the set add, and how easy is storage?
   The full set weighs approx 4.5 kg. The panels fold down compactly and can be stored in canopy’s carry bag or a separate cover.

6. How do they perform in windy conditions?
   They help shield from wind from the side, reducing howling or flapping of the canopy. But in very strong winds, it’s best to remove or partially open side walls, use pegs/guylines, and ensure canopy is anchored well.

7. Will I lose airflow or light if I use them?
   Some loss of light and airflow occurs, as is expected. But vent panels or windows help mitigate this. You can remove one side to improve airflow if needed.

8. Are they useful for privacy?
   Absolutely — the walls give extra privacy when needed (e.g. neighbouring pitches, sun exposure).

9. What is included standard with the side walls?
