It uses a poled steel frame rather than inflatable frame, meaning more robustness over longer use and less risk of damage from the frame itself. The steel frame, combined with the SR18 fabric, gives good weather resistance for seasonal pitches. The awning includes features like a wheel-arch cover, draft skirt, curtains, rear support legs, attachment points for an inner tent, secure strap buckles, and fully YKK / Techline zip systems. Weight of the canopy is ~ 23 kg, plus ~ 11 kg for the frame.

1. Will this awning fit my caravan?
   Yes — provided your caravan’s awning rail or side fitting height is between 235-255 cm. The Count DL is built for that range.

2. How difficult is it to set up / remove?
   Setup is fairly straightforward since it’s a traditional steel-frame awning. Lay out poles, assemble frame, attach canvas, peg and tension. Panels are detachable for flexibility. Removal is easier with removable/zip-down front panels.

3. How does it perform in bad weather?
   The SR18 all-season fabric with strong steel uprights plus Griplock clamps, secure straps and draft skirts give good protection. However, in very windy or harsh storms, additional anchorage (secure straps, guy ropes) and closing windows helps.

4. What’s the difference between steel vs fibre frame options?
   The standard Count DL uses steel frame. A fibre (lighter) frame option is sometimes offered but generally for lighter or touring use. Steel gives more robustness for longer or seasonal use.

5. How much space does it provide inside?
   You have a floor area of 4.00 m × 2.40 m (≈ 9.6 sqm) minus any internal features. Plenty for chairs, table, storage or gear.

6. Can I sleep in it or use inner tent accessory?
   Yes — there are attachment points for an inner tent (optional). This allows converting part of the porch for sleeping accommodation.

7. How do I choose the correct width / size?
   Measure your caravan’s A-rail width or the length of the awning rail. For Count DL porch, width option is 400 cm. Ensure this matches or slightly exceeds your rail length. Also check caravan height to ensure rail height fits the 235-255 cm requirement.

8. What’s included in the package?
   All the items listed under “Included Features” above (panels, windows, frame, skirts, zips, etc.), plus a canvas holdall and repair kit. Optional accessories are extras.

9. What warranty is provided?
   Standard Camptech warranty: 12-month manufacturer’s warranty covers materials and workmanship defects.

10. Is it suitable for seasonal pitching?
    Yes — it is specifically a seasonal porch awning. It’s built to be left up for extended periods (months), though for winter or extreme weather you should make sure it’s properly tensioned and anchored, or consider removal during severe conditions.
