We have just taken in this 2019 Chausson Titanium 640, and honestly, it is easy to see why this model was so highly regarded when it launched. If you are looking for maximum living space without driving a vehicle that feels too cumbersome, this is a very clever option. At just under 7 metres, it manages to pack in a huge rear washroom and a dressing area that you would usually only find in much larger motorhomes.
It is built on the Ford Transit chassis with the punchy 170bhp engine and the smooth Automatic gearbox, which makes long journeys far less tiring than a standard manual. The 'Smart Lounge' configuration is a real highlight for us; it gives you two large facing sofas for relaxing, which then convert into forward-facing travel seats when you hit the road. It is a practical, modern setup that really works for couples who want space, or families needing flexibility.
