The Secret is Out: Introducing the New Coachman Lusso IV

Since the 2026 Coachman launch back in September, the Lusso I, II, and III have been the undisputed heavyweights of our showroom. But Coachman had one more card to play. Kept under strict secrecy until today, we can finally announce the arrival of the Coachman Lusso IV.

At Golden Castle, we’ve been analysing the new floor plans, and it’s clear why this was worth the wait. The Coachman Lusso IV is a complete rethink of the flagship layout, offering a level of privacy that simply didn’t exist in the range until now.

What Makes the Coachman Lusso IV Different?

If you’ve spent time in a Lusso II, you know the “open-plan” feel is impressive, but it comes with a specific flow: the washroom is at the very back, meaning your bedroom is the only way to get to it.

The Coachman Lusso IV changes the rules. It moves the washroom to the centre of the caravan, creating a physical “buffer zone” between your living space and your sleeping quarters.

  • The “Pass-Through” Washroom: The facilities are split across the centre. You have the vanity and toilet on one side and a fully lined shower on the other.

  • The Private Rear Suite: By moving the washroom forward, the Transverse Island Bed is pushed to the absolute rear of the van.

  • True Separation: For the first time, you can close the door to the kitchen/lounge area, creating a completely self-contained master bedroom. If you have guests staying in the front L-shaped lounge, they can access the bathroom without ever entering your private bedroom.

Comparing the 2026 Lusso Lineup

With the secret model now revealed, the choice between the four Lusso models comes down to how you prefer to live on the road:

  • Lusso I: The single-axle pioneer. Transverse bed and rear washroom.

  • Lusso II: The best-selling twin-axle. Maximum open-plan space with a rear washroom.

  • Lusso III: The twin-axle choice for those who prefer fixed single beds.

  • Lusso IV: The new flagship. Transverse bed with a middle washroom for ultimate privacy.

Our Take on the Lusso IV

We think this layout is going to be the new benchmark for twin-axle touring. While the Lusso II is about space, the Coachman Lusso IV is about “apartment-style” living. It incorporates all the 2026 upgrades we love—the French oak herringbone flooring, matte black hardware, and “Primavera” wood finishes—but adds a layer of architectural separation that makes it feel like a different class of caravan.
