Cab Area
Step into this Ford Transit cab and you’ll notice the great driving position with good views all round. The automatic gearbox makes every trip easy – no clutch work in traffic, just smooth driving. The Pioneer head unit sits in the dashboard, giving you modern connectivity and entertainment. Both seats swivel round to join the lounge area, so when you’re parked up, everyone can sit together.Lounge
This front lounge is really spacious. The Aguti fold-out seats are comfortable for travelling and turn into a nice lounge area when you arrive. There’s an electric table – just press a button to adjust the height or tuck it away when you need more room. Big windows wrap around the lounge, letting in loads of light and giving you great views. The upholstery is in “as new” condition. Above, there’s an electric drop-down bed that comes down at the touch of a button, giving you a second double bed without taking up your living space during the day.Kitchen
This kitchen sits in the middle and has everything you need. There’s a three-burner gas hob, an oven and grill, and a large fridge with a freezer. You’ve got plenty of worktop space and loads of storage in the cupboards and lockers. A stainless steel sink with a mixer tap finishes it off.Bedroom
The electric drop-down bed above the lounge is brilliant. Press a button and it comes down to make a comfy double bed. Press it again and it lifts back up, giving you full headroom during the day. The mattress is good quality. If you need to sleep four, the lounge seats turn into another double bed, so you’ve got flexible options.Washroom
This end washroom is one of the best bits of this Bailey. It’s really spacious – you don’t feel cramped. There’s a cassette toilet, a sink with a mirror, and a separate shower with an electric pump. You’ve got good storage for toiletries, and there’s a skylight that brings in light and fresh air. It makes a real difference on longer trips.Heating
This Bailey has a Truma blown-air heating system that sends warmth round the whole living area. It’s easy to use, with vents you can adjust in each area. Perfect for cooler weather.Technology
One of the standout extras is the automatic roof-mounted satellite system. You can watch TV wherever you go without setting anything up – it does it all for you. The Pioneer head unit gives you modern connectivity, and the 12V lighting runs off the leisure battery, so you can use your appliances when you’re off-grid. When you’re on a campsite, you can hook up to mains electric. There’s also a tracker fitted, so you’ve got security and peace of mind. -
Exterior Highlights
Base Vehicle & Chassis
This Bailey is built on a Ford Transit with a 2.0-litre engine (160 BHP) and an automatic gearbox. It’s a really comfortable drive – the automatic takes all the effort out of longer trips or busy traffic. The cab has air conditioning, electric windows and mirrors, and you get great visibility all round. At the back, there’s a reversing camera fitted, which makes parking and manoeuvring much easier, especially in tight spots or on busy campsites.Habitation Features
The body is built from tough GRP with good insulation, so you can use this Bailey all year round. There’s a large door on the side for easy access, and the external lockers give you loads of room for outdoor gear, gas bottles, and all your bits and pieces. The rear garage is a real bonus – it’s big enough for bikes, camping chairs, or anything bulky you want to bring. On the roof, there’s a solar panel fitted. It keeps your battery topped up when you’re off-grid, so you can wild camp or stay on sites without electric hook-up and not worry about running out of power. The automatic satellite system is up there too, so the roof is well set up for comfortable touring. There’s a Thule awning fitted, which is perfect for creating extra outdoor living space on sunny days. It’s easy to wind out and gives you shade and shelter when you’re parked up. The mains water connection is easy to reach and makes hooking up to site water simple. With just 4,700 miles on the clock, this Bailey is in very good condition. The bodywork looks great, the paintwork is clean, and the graphics are crisp.Safety Features
This Bailey has a tracker fitted, so you get added security wherever you park. The reversing camera makes manoeuvring safer and takes the stress out of tight spaces. It’s also got ABS brakes and airbags, and the automatic gearbox makes driving easier and more confident. We’ve checked this motorhome thoroughly in our workshop, done a full damp check, and it comes with the Golden Castle warranty. -

FAQQ: What makes the Bailey Adamo 69-4 layout suitable for couples and families?
A: The Adamo 69-4 has a clever layout with an electric drop-down bed above the lounge and convertible seating below, so you can sleep four comfortably. The spacious end washroom with a separate shower gives you proper comfort, and the rear garage means you’ve got room for bikes and gear without compromising living space.Q: How does the automatic transmission affect fuel economy and driving experience?
A: The automatic gearbox makes driving much more relaxed, especially in traffic or on longer trips. You’ll find it easier to manoeuvre on campsites too. The Ford Transit 2.0-litre engine is efficient and reliable, and the automatic doesn’t significantly impact fuel economy compared to manual versions.Q: Can I use this motorhome off-grid, and how long will the battery last?
A: Yes, this Bailey is well set up for off-grid use. The solar panel keeps your leisure battery topped up, so you can wild camp or stay on non-electric sites without worrying about running out of power. The 12V system runs your lighting and appliances, and the solar panel extends your off-grid time significantly.Q: What’s included in the recent service, and is there any warranty?
A: The habitation service was completed in February 2025 by Dinmore Leisure, and the Ford mechanical service was done within 500 miles in July 2025. We’ve also carried out a comprehensive workshop inspection and full damp check here at Golden Castle. It comes with the Golden Castle warranty for your peace of mind.Q: Is this motorhome easy to drive for someone new to motorhoming?
A: Yes, the automatic gearbox makes it much easier to drive, especially if you’re new to motorhomes. The reversing camera helps with parking and manoeuvring, and at 3500kg MTPLM, you can drive it on a standard car licence. The Ford Transit cab gives you good visibility all round, so it’s a confident drive.
