What makes the Time Tunnel different from the Alogfire Mini? The Time Tunnel is designed for those who require more heat and a larger visual display. It produces 9400 BTU (2.75kW), which is nearly double the heat output of the Mini 3-in-1. While the Mini is a compact multi-tool for cooking and heating, the Time Tunnel focuses on a “fireplace” experience with a larger viewing window and a realistic ceramic log. Additionally, this model features side handles for stable, two-handed positioning.

Can I use the Time Tunnel in freezing conditions? Yes. Unlike standard gas heaters that often fail below 10C , the Time Tunnel uses patented technology to operate effectively between 0-10C. To maintain maximum performance in near-freezing temperatures, you can connect a power bank to the built-in USB Type-C port to assist the gas flow.

Is it safe for outdoor use?

Absolutely. The unit is equipped with a triple-safety system:

• Hypoxia Protection (ODS): Automatically shuts off the gas if oxygen levels drop.

• Flameout Protection: Shuts off gas flow if the flame is accidentally extinguished by wind.

• Dumping Protection: An accidental tip-over switch that cuts power immediately if the unit is knocked over.

What type of gas does it require? The Time Tunnel uses standard 220g nozzle-type butane cartridges with a notched collar. These are the common bayonet-style canisters found in most UK supermarkets and outdoor shops.

Can I connect this to a larger external gas cylinder? Yes. For extended use on a patio or during longer trips, you can use the Alogfire External Gas Connection Kit (sold separately) to connect the unit to larger gas bottles. This bypasses the need for 220g canisters and provides a continuous fuel supply.

How do I install the gas canister? The unit features a magnetic locking system. This allows for a quick and secure connection by simply aligning the notched collar of the canister—no complex threading or tools required.

How long will it run on a single 220g canister? You can expect between 1.5 and 3 hours of heat and flame, depending on your chosen setting. The stepless adjustment knob allows you to dial the flame up for maximum heat or down for a gentle evening glow
