Used 2014 Bailey Pegasus GT65 Rimini – 4 Berth Caravan with Twin Beds, End Washroom & Motor Mover

When Bailey celebrated their 65th anniversary, they released the GT65 range, and in our opinion, these are some of the best-equipped and most stylish caravans from that time. This 2014 Rimini model is a perfect example. We think its layout is brilliant for couples or families who prefer not to make up beds every night, as it features two fixed single beds and a very spacious full-width end washroom. As a GT65 special edition, it has a higher specification than the standard Pegasus, and this one also comes with a Truma motor mover fitted, making it a very complete and desirable package.

  • INTERIOR HIGHLIGHTS
    • Lounge: The front lounge is a comfortable and bright space, thanks to the large, three-section front window that Bailey is famous for. The parallel sofas provide plenty of room for relaxing and can be converted into a large double bed for guests.
    • Bedroom: The rear bedroom area offers two fixed single beds. We find this layout is incredibly popular as it provides an undisturbed night’s sleep and gives you a clear walkway to the end washroom without having to climb over anyone.
    • End Washroom: In our experience, having a full-width end washroom is a feature that really enhances your touring comfort. This one is very roomy, with a separate lined shower cubicle, a cassette toilet, and a vanity unit, creating a proper private dressing area.
    • Kitchen: You get a practical and well-designed kitchen with a Thetford oven and separate grill, a 4-burner hob, a microwave, and a good-sized fridge with a freezer compartment.
    • Heating System: A clever feature of this caravan is the Whale space-saving heating system. The main unit is mounted under the floor, which we think is a huge advantage as it frees up valuable internal locker space that would normally be taken up by a heater.
  • EXTERIOR HIGHLIGHTS
    • GT65 Special Edition: As a GT65 model, this Rimini benefits from a range of factory-fitted upgrades. This includes unique anniversary graphics, a premium upholstery scheme, and most importantly, ATC Trailer Control for a much safer and more stable towing experience.
    • Motor Mover: A Truma motor mover is fitted, which we believe is an essential extra. It allows you to manoeuvre the caravan effortlessly with a simple remote control, taking all the stress out of positioning it on a pitch or driveway.
    • Construction: It’s built using Bailey’s signature Alu-Tech bodyshell. We think this is a great system as it’s stronger and better insulated than traditional methods, helping to keep you comfortable in all seasons.
    • Chassis: Built on a reliable AL-KO chassis with an AL-KO stabiliser for a safe and secure towing experience.

  • Frequently Asked Questions

    1. What does the ‘GT65’ mean? The ‘GT65’ was a special edition range released by Bailey to celebrate their 65th anniversary. They took the popular Pegasus models and added a pack of valuable upgrades as standard, such as the ATC Trailer Control, unique graphics, and a higher-quality interior finish. We find they are always very desirable models.

    2. What are the benefits of a twin bed layout? The twin bed layout in the Rimini is a favourite for many of our customers. It gives you two comfortable, ready-made single beds, which means you don’t have to disturb your partner if you get up during the night. It also creates a clear path from the main living area to the end washroom.

    3. What’s different about the Whale heating system? The Whale system is a clever piece of space-saving design. Instead of placing the heater and water boiler inside a locker (taking up storage space), the main units are mounted underneath the caravan floor. This means you get an entire extra locker for your own belongings, which is a real bonus.

    4. What is the benefit of the Alu-Tech construction? Alu-Tech is Bailey’s unique construction method which uses a strong, interlocking aluminium framework. We find this makes the caravan more robust and better insulated, which keeps you warmer in winter and cooler in summer. It’s a great feature for long-term durability.
