These pads are compatible with Camptech inflatable awnings. Their foam composite build offers flexibility so they can compress slightly yet still support the awning tube without damaging fabric or structure. They’re particularly valuable if your awning’s end air pole does not fully contact the vehicle wall due to obstructions. Using the pads reduces sag in the awning canopy, helps with water run-off, and improves protection against drafts. When not needed (e.g. when awning is adjusted or accessories removed), they are lightweight enough to remove and store easily.

1. Will these packing pads fit my awning?
   Yes — they’re designed for most Camptech inflatable awnings where there’s a gap between the end of air poles and your vehicle wall. If your awning beam already touches the vehicle, you may not need them.

2. How do I use them?
   Slide or push them into the space between the air pole end and the side of your caravan/motorhome before tensioning the awning. Ensure they’re positioned to support the air tube without compressing fabric.

3. How many pads should I use?
   Use as many as needed to fill the gap evenly. Some users may only need one or two per side depending on how much obstruction there is; the 6-pack gives enough flexibility.

4. Do they affect awning setup or stress?
   If used correctly, they help improve the canopy’s tautness and reduce stress caused by sagging. Avoid forcing the air pole to bend; pads are meant to support—not distort—the frame.

5. Are they durable?
   The foam composite is fairly robust for typical awning use. They should last many seasons; store dry and avoid prolonged compression when not in use to maintain shape.

6. Can I leave them in place all the time?
