It fits inside the awning or skirt channel (awnings/skirt rails) and forms a protective barrier between the rail (often metal or coated metal) and either the awning fabric or decorative skirt. Over time, rails can suffer wear from friction, water running over, or buildup of dirt/moisture; this product extends the life of the rail, helps maintain clean appearance, and reduces maintenance.

• How do I install it?
  Clean out the rail so it’s free of dirt/grime, then carefully slide or push the protector tape into the channel fully. Trim any excess using scissors or a sharp knife.

• Does it reduce wear or damage to awning rails?
  Yes — it forms a buffer layer between awning fabric or skirt and the rail metal, reducing friction and preventing damage over time.

• Can it prevent black streaks on my caravan’s side from rainwater?
