This tall annexe is intended for use with the Camptech Cayman traditional touring awning (new models from 2022 onwards) and the Duchess porch awning. The floor dimensions are approximately 180 cm width × 200 cm depth (or 180 × 185 cm in some listings) depending on retailer. It’s fitted with a rear door, allowing easier access to contents, and privacy windows to balance light and seclusion. When equipped with the optional inner tent (IT091 Tall Annex Inner Tent), it becomes a comfortable two-berth sleeping zone.

Because it is a poled annexe, setup takes more time than inflatable annexes, and weight and packed size are larger. It’s best suited for setups where you leave your awning set up for longer periods. The materials and frame are chosen to match the Cayman/Duchess for clean appearance, matching fabrics, zips, and attachments.

1. Will this Tall Annexe fit my Cayman or Duchess Awning?
   Yes — specifically the newer 2022+ Cayman full awnings and the Duchess porch awnings; older versions or incompatible awnings may lack required attachments.

2. How do I set it up?
   Attach the annexe using the sloped or pre-fitted zips/panels on your Cayman or Duchess awning, assemble the steel frame poles, erect fabric, peg and tension, fix the rear door, and adjust windows.

3. Can I sleep in this annexe?
   Yes — when using the optional IT091 Tall Annex Inner Tent, it becomes a 2-berth sleeping area. Without the inner tent, it’s better used for storage, coats, gear etc.

4. How much floor space does it give me?
   Approx 180 cm wide × 200 cm deep floor area (some listings say 185 cm depth). Enough for chairs, storage, or two small beds when combined with inner tent.

5. How tall is it / will I fit comfortably inside?
   The “Tall” annexe gives more vertical space than standard annexes. It is built to align height-wise with the side panels of Cayman/Duchess awnings, giving a comfortable standing height in many cases (though exact internal clearance depends on the size and how you pitch the awning).

6. How does it perform in bad weather (wind, rain)?
   Made using SR18 fabric and steel frame it is suitable for all-season use. Rear door and privacy windows can be closed in bad weather. Use secure straps if windy. Steel frame helps resist deformation.

7. What are the weight and storage implications?
   As a poled annex with steel poles and fabric, weight is significantly higher than inflatable options. Pack-down size is bulkier; needs more storage space and more time to pitch/unpitch.

8. What’s included as standard?

10. How do I choose between Standard Annexe and Tall Annexe versions?
    If you need more height (for taller users or taller storage), better airflow, or want to use with inner tent, go for the Tall version. Standard annexes will be lower and less generous in height but lighter and less bulky. Match annexe depth/width to your awning size.
