The Starter Kit is perfect as a first lighting upgrade for your awning. It’s sold without the power pack, so you’ll need to use either the Camptech Battery Pack or another suitable 12 V / USB source. Because there’s no long internal wiring, it’s safer, simpler, and easier to remove or reposition. The materials are weather-resistant though it’s best used under the awning roof / protected areas.

1. Will this kit fit my awning?
Yes — it works with both inflatable and traditional steel-poled awnings. Fits most awning roofs or canopy structures.

2. How do I install the lights?
Use the straps or pole clips provided to attach light bars to your roof poles, side beams, or existing roof beading. Choose the setup that gives even lighting and avoid places where rain or water may pool.

3. Do I need the power pack?
You’ll need a separate power source (battery pack or equivalent) — the Starter Kit does not include the battery pack.

4. How bright is the light?
It’s designed to provide ambient, warm-tone illumination — bright enough to see clearly, but gentle for evenings. Not full daylight, but excellent for comfortable use after dark.

5. What is the colour tone of the LEDs?
Warm white light, which is easier on the eyes and more relaxing than harsh cool light.

6. Can I add more lights later?
Yes — you can purchase the Omnibrite Top-Up Kit to add more light bars. The splitters and modular design make additions easy.

7. Are the components weatherproof?
The light bars and mounting accessories are built for outdoor use under the awning roof. While they resist moisture, avoid exposure in heavy rain or direct water.

8. How do I power it safely?
Use a correct capacity battery pack or compatible 12 V/USB supply. Ensure connections are dry, avoid overloading, and switch off when not in use.

9. What’s included in the kit?
2 LED bars, mounting straps/clips, no power pack. Everything needed to attach and run the lights (excluding battery).

10. What warranty is provided?
