The SL5001 straps are specifically described as Techline Storm Straps for use with Camptech inflatable awnings made from 2016 onwards. They attach to existing buckles on your awning or annexe, keeping tension balanced and helping resist wind uplift or fabric flapping. Stored in a weatherproof bag, these take up little space and are simple to deploy when needed.

1. Will the SL5001 Secure Straps fit my awning?
   Yes — designed for Camptech inflatable awnings (2016 to present) with side or front buckle points.

2. How do I set them up?
   Clip each strap’s male buckle to the sewn-on buckle on the awning, extend the webbing, drive the steel peg into solid ground, then tighten the strap with the buckle.

3. What difference do they make compared to no straps?
   They reduce movement, flapping in wind, fabric strain, and help prevent damage in gusty or stormy conditions.

4. Are the straps adjustable?
   Yes — they include buckle adjusters so you can tension them appropriately for your pitch and conditions.

5. What kind of ground do pegs work in?
   Steel pegs are best in firm soil or grass. In very soft or rocky ground, you may need longer or more specialised pegs.

6. Will using these damage my awning?
   No — if fitted correctly to the pre-sewn buckles and tensioned moderately, they’re safe and designed for this purpose. Over-tightening might cause strain.

7. What’s the storage like?
   All parts stow in the supplied weather-proof bag with pull-cord top, keeping damp or mud off and making them easy to carry.

   Yes — particularly helpful in coastal or exposed sites where wind is more frequent.

9. How many straps should I use?
