The Saturn 390 aims to be simple to pitch; its frame components are lightweight enough for one or two people (total weight ~ 18 kg) while offering solid performance for regular touring. The front panels can roll up, giving you a shaded veranda style or open front when weather is good. Privacy blinds / roll-down window covers are integrated to offer protection when needed. A draft skirt and pegs are included to help seal the base against draughts and splashback. It’s not built for winter snow loads or extreme exposure, but in moderate UK weather it offers excellent utility.

• Will this awning fit my caravan?
  Yes — provided your caravan’s awning rail or side wall height is between 235-250 cm. The awning is 390 cm wide, so make sure your rail or canopy strip can accommodate that.

• How easy is it to set up / pitch?
  Relatively easy — fibre roof rods + steel uprights; with pegs & guy ropes. It’s designed for touring use, so you’ll get familiar setup in under 20-30 minutes (with two people).

• What is the difference between this and the smaller Saturn 260?
  Mainly size: 390 cm width gives more coverage; also more robust frame support at the front/back; slightly higher weight. Uses the same fabric type but gives more living space.

• How does it perform in windy or wet weather?
  Good for moderate rain and wind if properly tensioned and pegged. Use roll-down window covers & blinds to protect front; watch for water pooling, and don’t leave it out in storms.

• What ventilation does it have to reduce condensation?
  Mesh side door panels help airflow, front panel roll-ups also allow ventilation. Use blinds appropriately and keep some openings when sleeping to reduce moisture.

  It is more of a touring/light-season awning. For long stays, ensure it’s well maintained, dried before storage, properly anchored, and avoid leaving up in extreme weather.
