The Sussex Sunshade includes three steel poles, pegs and guy-lines for anchoring and comes with a carry/storage bag. Weights vary slightly by width but all are modest (≈ 6.15-6.70 kg depending on model) which helps portability. It’s excellent for touring use, fair-weather breaks or whenever you want to extend your living space outdoors without the full commitment of walls. Warranty is 12 months standard with Camptech accessories.

1. Will the Sussex Sunshade fit my caravan / campervan?
   Yes — pick the width that best matches your awning rail or side of the vehicle. Also ensure you have ~240 cm of space forward from the rail or point of attachment, for its depth.

2. How do I set it up?
   Attach the beading into your awning rail or slide into roll-out canopy rail, erect the steel poles, peg down the base corners, tension guylines for stability.

3. What’s the difference between the widths?
   The greater the width, the more coverage along the side of your vehicle or awning, but the larger the space needed and the more wind exposure. Match width to your typical pitch and usage.

4. How much does the sunshade weigh?
   Approx 6.15 kg for the 240 cm width model; slightly more for the wider sizes.

5. What is dual beading used for?
   Allows compatibility with different types of rails: a 4 mm bead suits many standard caravan awning rails; a 6 mm bead works with roll-out canopy rails (e.g. Fiamma, Thule) or thicker fittings. This makes the Sussex more versatile.

6. How well does it perform in wind or rain?
   It’s built for shade rather than full weather protection. It performs well in light rain or mild wind when properly staked and tensioned. Not designed for heavy storms or snow.

7. Is the fabric durable / all-season?
   Yes — all-season polyester (coated) resists UV and light water exposure. But as with all fabric canopies, drying thoroughly and packing away in severe weather prolongs life.

8. What’s included standard?
   You get the canopy, poles, pegs, guy-lines, carry bag — no side walls or enclosures unless purchased separately.

9. What warranty is provided?
   Covers 12 months manufacturer’s warranty on materials and workmanship under Camptech’s standard accessories policy.

10. How do I choose which size to get?
    Measure the width of your awning rail or vehicle side, consider how much overhang you want, and allow for enough depth (front space) for seating or gear. The 240 cm depth is fixed, so ensure you have that space forward.
