First Impressions
The 545 Xtra sits at the entry point of the Acadia range – £36,150, the same starting price as the 575 Xtra, and the lowest price point across all four Coachman ranges Golden Castle carries. Single axle, which means lighter towing and easier manoeuvring than anything in the twin-axle Laser range.
The layout’s defining feature is the fixed rear double – no making up a bed each night at the back of the van — paired with a front lounge that converts either to twin singles or a double, depending how many are travelling. That combination, fixed bed plus flexible lounge, is what separates it from Acadia models where the whole sleeping arrangement is make-up-only.
Compared to the 575 Xtra at the same price: the difference between the two comes down to layout detail rather than spec level, so if you’re choosing between them, it’s worth comparing the two floor plans side by side rather than deciding on price alone.
