• Lounge: The front lounge really benefits from the extra width, feeling genuinely spacious and comfortable. The large panoramic sunroof lets in plenty of light, making it a great place to relax. The sofas easily convert into a large double bed.

1. How does the mid-section island bed layout work? The Super Major 4 SB has the island bed positioned centrally, running across the width of the caravan. This creates three distinct zones: lounge at the front, bedroom in the middle, and washroom at the back. We find this separation works really well for couples or families.

2. Is an 8ft-wide caravan much harder to tow? You are more aware of the extra width, especially on narrow roads, but it’s very manageable with modern tow cars. We find the biggest benefit is the vastly improved living space when you’re pitched up. The fitted motor mover makes manoeuvring at low speeds very simple.

3. What is Swift SMART construction? SMART construction is Swift’s modern building method. It uses a timberless frame made from a polyurethane material that is impervious to water, combined with tough GRP panels for the roof, floor, and sides. It’s designed to make the caravan stronger, lighter, and more resistant to moisture.

4. What is Swift Command? Swift Command is a smart control system that lets you manage many of the caravan’s functions, like the heating, lighting, and power systems, from a single large colour touchscreen panel. It’s very intuitive to use, and it also has a companion app, so you can control and monitor things remotely from your smartphone.
