Elddis Magnum GT 185 – 2020 Motorhome

The Magnum GT is Elddis's special edition built on the Autoquest 185 platform, adding a substantially upgraded specification over the standard model. This pre-owned 2020 example comes genuinely well equipped: a solar panel, a reversing camera and a fitted bike rack are all confirmed in our photographs, on top of the Magnum GT's own high factory specification.

The layout is built around genuine separation of living, sleeping and washing spaces. The front lounge offers parallel bench seating with swivelling cab captain's chairs, converting to a double bed at night. Further back, twin fixed single beds give a dedicated bedroom with plush mattresses and under-bed storage, and a full-width washroom at the rear houses a separate shower cubicle, cassette toilet, vanity sink and wardrobe.

Under the bonnet is a 2.0-litre 140bhp Euro 6 diesel engine with a 6-speed manual gearbox, built on a Peugeot Boxer base vehicle. This motorhome has covered 15,831 miles. At an MTPLM of 3500kg it can be driven on a standard UK category B car license (provided it was passed before 1997, or the relevant upgrade has been taken – we are happy to clarify this for you). You can compare it against the rest of our used motorhomes, and research this vehicle's history using its registration and chassis number below.

  • Interior Highlights

Bedroom: Twin fixed single beds sit in their own dedicated area with plush mattresses and accessible under-bed storage, giving a genuine bedroom rather than a converted lounge.

Washroom: The full-width rear washroom includes a separate shower cubicle, cassette toilet, vanity sink and a wardrobe – a proper bathroom rather than a shared wet room.

Lounge: The front lounge combines parallel bench seating with swivelling cab captain’s chairs, giving flexible seating for driving, relaxing or dining, and converting to a double bed for additional sleeping capacity.

Kitchen: A well-equipped central kitchen with a three-burner gas hob plus an electric hotplate, separate oven and grill, integrated microwave, sink and a 3-way fridge-freezer.

Technology: The Whale dual-fuel blown-air heating and hot water system with its own control panel, a CBE central control panel for the leisure systems, and the Truma solar charge controller supporting the roof panel.

  • Exterior Highlights

Built on a Peugeot Boxer base vehicle with a 2.0-litre 140bhp Euro 6 diesel engine and 6-speed manual gearbox, this Magnum GT carries the special edition’s own exterior graphics and matching alloy wheels. Cab comforts include air conditioning and cruise control, making longer journeys genuinely comfortable.

The fitted solar panel and reversing camera are both confirmed in our photographs, along with the Pearman Briggs bike rack mounted at the rear. This pre-owned example presents very well throughout. Our full range of used motorhomes includes coachbuilt, low-profile and panel van conversions if you would like to compare.

  • BENEFITS
    • Fixed Bed Comfort: The French bed layout offers a permanent mattress and huge storage access.

    • Space-Saving Layout: The drop-down double bed completely disappears into the ceiling during the day to maximize the lounge area.

    • Travel Safely: 4 belted travel seats ensure family and friends can join the journey.

    • Low Mileage: Exceptionally low mileage at just 13,765 miles.

  • FAQ

Q: Can I drive this on my normal car license?
A: Yes, provided you passed your test before 1997, or hold the appropriate category for vehicles up to 3,500kg. If you passed after 1997 there are weight restrictions worth checking – we are happy to talk you through what applies to you.

Q: Has the motorhome been checked over mechanically?
A: Every used motorhome we sell at Golden Castle is inspected before it goes on sale, covering both the base vehicle and the habitation area. Ask us for the details on this Magnum GT when you enquire or visit.

Q: Is the mileage low for a 2020 motorhome?
A: At 15,831 miles, this is a genuinely low-mileage example for its age, suggesting light use rather than a vehicle that has been worked hard.

Q: Does the solar panel mean I can stay off-grid?
A: The fitted solar panel tops up the leisure battery whenever there is daylight, supporting lighting, the water pump and 12v equipment on non-electric pitches. For extended off-grid stays we can advise on additional battery capacity.

Q: How many people can this motorhome carry while travelling?
A: It has 4 belted travel seats, so up to four people can travel safely, in addition to sleeping four at rest.

Q: Do you take part exchange?
A: Contact us with the details of your current motorhome or caravan and we will be happy to discuss a part exchange valuation.

Q: Can I check the vehicle’s history myself?
A: Yes. The registration is VX20ANP and the chassis number is VF3YCBNAU12N28038 – you can run an independent vehicle history check using these details.
