Payment & Reservation Policy

We offer a secure means of ordering and paying for your products via this site. All online credit card payments are secured through a Secure Server Layer to protect your data. Our servers are rigorously tested to meet PCIDSS (Payment Card Information Data Security Standard) criteria.

Alternatively, you can order and pay by telephone (01452-730100) or pay by cheque (made payable to Gloucestershire Leisure Ltd).

Vehicle Reservation Process

Customers now have the option to pay a reservation fee of £250 via our website to secure a caravan. Please note the following terms apply to this reservation:

  • Reservation Only: This payment is a reservation fee and does not guarantee caravan ownership. The reservation allows you to visit our premises, inspect the vehicle, and decide whether to proceed with the purchase.
  • Refund Policy: The £250 reservation fee is 100% refundable if you decide the vehicle is not for you. Simply contact us to initiate a refund.
  • Reservation Period: The reservation secures the caravan for a period of 48 hours unless otherwise agreed with a sales representative. If the purchase is not completed within this period, the reservation may be cancelled, and the fee refunded.
  • No Delivery Provided: Golden Castle does not offer caravans, motorhomes, or campervans delivery. These vehicles must be collected from our premises.
  • Balance Payment: The remaining balance must be settled before collecting the caravan. Payment methods accepted include online payments, telephone payments, and cheques (cleared prior to collection).

General Payment Policy

We must receive payment of the whole price for the goods you order before your order can be accepted. Accepting your order will create a legally binding contract between us. Acceptance will occur when your credit card is debited or your cheque is cleared. A contract will not affect your statutory rights.

Delivery Policy (Accessories Only)

Most accessory products (awnings, chairs, etc.) are kept in stock, and we aim to deliver your order within 3 – 5 working days. We will inform you of any significant delays if the item is out of stock. Golden Castle shall not be held liable for any delays in delivering goods, nor shall they be held liable for delays caused to customers’ work commitments due to your order not arriving on time. Golden Castle shall not be liable to customers for charges for hire of alternative vehicles or labour. Golden Castle will not be liable for compensation due to late delivery of any items or damage to property from delivery.

Delivery of accessory products usually takes 3-5 working days from receipt of order and payment clearance. Products will be dispatched to your preferred address. A detailed receipt and a copy of the credit card payment receipt will be sent to you separately.

Product Warranties

All products carry the appropriate manufacturers’ warranties.

Faulty Goods

If any Accessory Items turn out to be faulty or different from those you ordered, you may return them after notifying us of the problem with the goods and your intention to return them. You must return them within 30 days of the date of their delivery to you to our contact address: Golden Castle Caravans, Tewkesbury Road, Twigworth, Gloucester. Gloucestershire. GL2 9PX. We will refund the price you paid for such goods provided that the goods are returned by you and received by us in the condition they were in when delivered to you. If the goods have been used we reserve the right to repair them in accordance with the relevant legislation in force at the time.

Golden Castle may collect the following information for the processing and despatch of orders: your name, address, and contact information, including email address and telephone number. The data will be used to fulfil orders, answer queries, ensure the security of the website and ordering system, and prevent and detect fraud.
