First Impressions
The 575 Xtra opens the Acadia range at £36,150 — the lowest entry price across every Coachman range Golden Castle carries for 2027. Single axle keeps the towing weight down and the manoeuvring straightforward, which matters if this is a first caravan or a step down in size from a previous twin-axle van.
Inside, you get 5.76m of interior length to work with, built around a fixed rear double bed — no making up a bed at the back of the van each night — and a front lounge that flexes to either twin singles or a double, so the sleeping arrangement adjusts to who’s actually travelling rather than locking you into one layout. Upper MTPLM runs to 1700kg with the optional weight plate upgrade, which puts it within reach of a wide range of tow cars without needing to step up to a heavier chassis.
It shares its footprint with the 545 Xtra, so if you’re comparing the two, the decision comes down to internal arrangement rather than price or size.
