A top cover makes a lot of sense if your main concern is keeping the roof clean and protected but you don’t want the extra work of fitting a full motorhome cover. Measure both the length and width of your motorhome before ordering: MP9322–MP9325 are 2.35m wide, while the larger MP9326 and MP9327 covers are 2.65m wide.

Fit the cover to a clean vehicle and protect or fold away sharp and fragile roof fittings such as aerials and other projections. Maypole recommends two people for fitting, and the straps should be secure without being over-tensioned. This cover is not recommended for high winds or particularly exposed locations.

1. What sizes are available?
There are six options: MP9322 is 5.7–6.0m, MP9323 is 6.0–6.5m, MP9324 is 6.5–7.0m, MP9325 is 7.0–7.5m, MP9326 is 7.5–8.0m and MP9327 is 8.0–8.5m.

2. How wide are the covers?
MP9322, MP9323, MP9324 and MP9325 are 2.35m wide. The larger MP9326 and MP9327 covers are 2.65m wide.

3. Does this cover the whole motorhome?
No. This is a motorhome top cover, designed primarily to protect the roof and upper section. If you want full-body protection, you’ll need a full motorhome cover instead.

4. What does the cover protect against?
It’s designed to provide protection against UV rays, rain, wind, smog, dust, snow, ice, birds and leaves, while helping keep bird mess and tree sap away from the motorhome roof.

5. How is the cover secured?
It uses 18 adjustable straps with nylon-coated steel hooks, allowing the cover to be secured to suitable fixing points around the motorhome.

6. Will the straps scratch the bodywork?
Maypole includes non-abrasive padded protectors to prevent the tensioning buckles and straps rubbing directly against the bodywork when correctly fitted.

7. Can I use the cover in strong winds?
Maypole specifically advises that the cover should not be fitted in windy conditions and does not recommend its use in high winds or exposed locations.

8. Can I drive with the top cover fitted?
No. The cover must be removed completely before driving the motorhome.

9. Can I fit the cover by myself?
Maypole’s fitting instructions recommend two people because of the size of the cover and the need to manoeuvre it safely over the motorhome roof.

10. Does the cover come with a storage bag?
Yes. A storage bag is supplied, making it easier to keep the cover packed away when it isn’t in use.
