This Windbreak Lux is one of two models in the Carnival Poled Windbreak range (Standard with 2 windows, and Luxury with 4 windows) offered by Camptech. It uses Climatech 300D, which gives added weight and toughness compared to lighter fabrics, making it more suitable for frequent use or more exposed campsites. The poles are zinc-plated steel, 19 mm diameter, giving both strength and weather resistance. The design, colour-way (light grey / dark grey) and materials match Camptech awnings and accessories, ensuring the windbreak doesn’t look out of place. Setup is straightforward: assemble poles, peg into ground, attach windbreak, tension using guy ropes. When not in use, it packs down compactly, though bulkier than lighter windbreak models.

• Will this Windbreak Lux fit my caravan / awning setup?
  Yes, as long as you have enough ground space for its 460 cm width and area to peg it securely. Height of 130 cm is standard, so it will suit most awnings or caravan sides without obstructing view.

• How difficult is it to set up?
  Quite straightforward: erect the zinc-plated poles, insert them into ground pegs, attach the windbreak fabric, use the guy ropes and bungee straps to tension. Two people make it faster.

• What is the difference between the Standard (2 windows) and Lux (4 windows) versions?
  The Lux has windows on all four panels, whereas the Standard has windows only in two (usually the centre panels). The fabric, poles, dimensions are otherwise the same. Lux version gives more light and view.

• How well does it perform in windy conditions?
  Good, provided it’s properly pegged, guyed, and the tension is maintained. The poles are sturdy, and additional guy ropes and stability accessories help. In very strong or gusty wind, angle the panels or reduce exposure.

• Is the fabric durable / fire-retardant?
  Yes — the Climatech 300D fabric is fire-retardant and thick enough to resist tearing, abrasion, and general weather wear. It is heavier but built for durability.
