WHY WE LOVE IT
-
True Single-Point Inflation: Unlike some “air” awnings where you have to inflate beams individually, the Nova features a fully interconnected Advanced Air System. You simply attach the included 12V electric pump to one valve, and the entire structure—walls and roof—rises together in minutes.
-
Solid Stability: Because the air tubes are welded and stitched into the roof as a single unit, the pressure balances naturally across the frame. This makes the awning incredibly stable in changeable British weather, moving with the wind rather than fighting it.
-
Sun Canopy Mode: It is surprisingly versatile. You can unzip and remove all four panels (front and sides) to transform the enclosed awning into a huge, open sun canopy. Perfect for those hot summer days when you just want shade and a breeze.
-
Premium Material Feel: The sides are crafted from VenTex (300 g/m²), a fibre-dyed polyester that feels robust and creates a pleasant, breathable indoor climate, stepping away from the “plastic” feel of cheaper lightweight awnings.

Before You Buy
This is a full A-measurement awning, not a porch. It is critical that you buy the specific size to match your caravan’s ground-to-ground measurement (e.g., 950 cm, 1000 cm). It is designed primarily for touring; while the materials are high quality, for permanent seasonal pitching (leaving it up for months), a traditional steel-framed Isabella is still the gold standard.
-
REAL-WORLD ADVICE
If you want a full awning that feels light, bright and roomy without the hassle of traditional poles, this air awning hits that sweet spot. The generous depth gives enough space for seating and dining setups, and the flexible panel arrangements let you tailor daylight and airflow as conditions change on site. Many caravanners choose the mid-range widths for everyday touring and bigger sizes for family stays or longer breaks.

A-Measurement - Finding the right awning size
To ensure you get the perfect fit for a full awning, you need to find the “A-measurement” of your caravan. Follow these steps to measure accurately:
Step 1: Gather Your Tools
You can use a tape measure or a piece of string to take this measurement. If you use string, it is crucial that you do not stretch it, as this will result in a false reading and an incorrectly sized awning. Professionals often use specialized beading with a tape measure attached to make the process easier.
Step 2: Measure the Height (Optional but Useful)
While the A-measurement is the primary focus for awnings, you may sometimes need the specific height of the caravan.
- Ignore the caravan handbook for this specific task, as handbooks typically incorporate the height of the skylight and aerial.
- Instead, measure straight down from the awning rail to the floor.
Step 3: Position the Measuring Tool at the Start Point
Place one end of your tape measure or string on the floor at one end of the caravan, directly beneath the opening of the awning rail.
Step 4: Thread the Awning Rail
Slide your tape measure, string, or beading through the entire length of the awning channel. Ensure the tool follows the curve of the rail exactly as the awning fabric will.
Step 5: Complete the Measurement at the Finish Point
Continue threading the tool through the rail until it exits at the other side and touches the floor. The total distance from the floor, through the rail, and back down to the floor is your final A-measurement. For example, a common reading might be something like 10 meters 34.
Analogy: Measuring a caravan for an awning is much like measuring someone for a tailor-made suit. You cannot simply rely on their total height (which includes their hair or a hat, much like a caravan’s aerial); you must follow the specific contours where the fabric will actually rest to ensure the garment fits perfectly.
