It could be Brexit, it could be a revival of the ‘staycation’ or it could be their new premises. Whatever the reason, Golden Castle’s Managing Director Craig Dee says they are seeing more and more people through their doors:
“Year on year, we’ve seen an increase in the number of people coming to us to find out what caravans have to offer, especially at this time of year. I think people are trying to beat the post summer holiday blues and pick up a great deal!”
The local company is now hoping to make the most of the increased interest at their special event this weekend. The free ‘Open Weekend’ will showcase the new 2017 models for those in the market for a new caravan. Whilst those first time buyers or those simply looking for a bargain will get the first look at the clearance sale of the 2016 models, as well as special discounts on used caravans. Craig Dee says they are hoping to attract a wide range of people:
“We made the promise earlier this year that we will have more to offer our customers than ever before. That’s a lot to do with our new location and the extra space we have. But we’re also making sure we offer great deals on ALL areas, so this weekend we’re not just focusing on caravans, we’ve got discounts on accessories and great deals on awnings.
“In the spirit of being a family company, we’re also laying on a bouncy castle, live music and refreshments – something for everyone!”
Earlier this year, the company relocated to a new home on the A38 at Twigworth, just north of Gloucester. The move included a total refurbishment of the existing buildings, a complete redesign of a new accessory shop and the access road being resurfaced, the company now boasts 50,000 sq.ft of space, making it the largest caravan retailer in the region.
The ‘Open Weekend’ runs from 2pm to 8pm on Friday 16th September and 11am to 5pm on Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th September at the Golden Castle site on Tewkesbury Road in Twigworth.
